From Negombo

1. Negombo to Kurunegala:
Big red Government Bus (3 or 4 h: fast, but many stops) OR big blue or white Private Bus (3 or 4 h: less stops sometimes, but not as fast as Red Bus) OR small Express Bus (2h: very fast and most comfortable)

2. From Kurunegala to Dambulla
Government or Private Bus (There might also be a bus directly from Negombo to Dambulla) About 2 h with red or blue public bus.

3. From Dambulla in direction to Kandy:
After about 30 min: Exit at village “Hunganwella”

4. From Hunganwella to the Center:
A tuktuk can bring you to the Nalanda Retreat Center located in the next village „Meegolla” 2 km away for about 200.- Rupees.

5. Depending on the day and time you arrive:
Kumar might also pick you up at the bus stop in Hunganwella. You can call Kumar once you are at the bus stop: 077 623 85 92.
