“The refuge is within each of us,” said the Buddha. But to discover it, one must create an inner space, an openness and an aspiration that allow the light to manifest. Instead of improving ourselves, we are constantly busy improving the things around us and remain in confusion.
Our desires and aversions prevent us from seeing things as they are. The more self-absorbed we are, the more we disconnect from the world. By being open, we become instruments of the divine, the flow of existence flows freely through us, and we discover the infinite joy of being alive.
