Beyond all that perceives and is perceived, this is the supreme view.
Doing nothing and resting in oneself, this is the supreme action.
If you wish to attain the meaning beyond the intellect, not to be fabricated,
cut the root of your own mind and dwell in naked awareness.
Do not try to chase away or follow appearances. Let them settle in themselves.
If you neither adopt nor reject, they are liberated.
Beyond being an object of perception, the nature of the mind is luminous, transparent,
as vast as space, reflecting phenomena without being them.
I escaped from the universe created by my thoughts and became nameless and measureless.
No one am I, who am all that is.
To work without doing, to teach without speaking, are understood by few.
Therefore, the yogi living in the world hides his light,
erases his traces and speaks only when questioned.
You complain that God does not visit you often, but have you bowed low enough?
Have you prepared a dwelling worthy of his glory?
God only hears your prayer if he himself pronounces it on your lips or silently in your heart.
I’ve been looking for you for such a long time, O beauty so ancient and so new,
I have searched among the wonders of manifestation,
and you were right here in my own heart.
